On July 25, 2017, we completed the installation of a hearing loop in our Sanctuary. This can help those with hearing loss to hear our services. Hearing loops are the most prevalent technology to assist those with hearing loss in auditorium type venues. Individuals with telecoil (t-coil) technology in their hearing aids receive the service audio from the loop of cable that surrounds our Sanctuary. The hearing aid feeds the audio directly to their ear canal.

The project was managed by Thomas Kaufmann, the founder and CEO of OTOjOY, specialists in audio technology, including hearing loops. OTOjOY has installed numerous systems in California and has recently expanded into Arizona. Visit the Web site at www.otojoy.com

OTOjOY sub-contracted with Tucson Carpet Repair & Cleaning, for implementation of the hearing loop cable under our Sanctuary carpet. Visit their Web site at www.carpetrepairtucson.com.

Our Missions

Listening for the voice of our still-speaking God, the MINISTRY OF MISSIONS AND OUTREACH (MMO) encompasses the wide variety of mission activities that are supported by Casas Adobes Congregational UCC.  MMO also carries out a range of community outreach activities, sponsors a variety of public programs, provides publicity for major church events and activities, and makes space available to numerous community organizations.  Our charge includes commitment to three major areas of church activities: service to our community, outreach to our community, and providing information to our community.

Spirituality at CACC

In our worship and in our philosophy we do honor the words of Congregationalist minister John Robinson, "There is yet more light and truth to break forth from the word of God." In that regard we take the Bible seriously, not literally, and our theology is on the progressive end of the spectrum. Please come and join us on our journey as we all strive to live God's love more fully in our lives.

Fellowship at CACC

We gather together in solemnity and joy; we enjoy our church and welcome you. Our members learn from and about each other, share thoughts, events, and projects, and build and strengthen friendships. We take time between Sunday services to catch up with one another, learning about and sharing with members and friends, old and new. There’s always a coffee mug, a handshake, and a smile for you!
