Marie Bacchiocci - Associate Minister
Biography:
The Rev. Marie Bacchiocchi grew up in Mansfield, Massachusetts where she learned to be a Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots and Bruins fan. She attended Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in religion and minored in music, Harvard Divinity School, where she received her M.Div., and Rhode Island College, where she received her MAT in elementary education. She has served churches in Minnesota, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Arizona. She is a born and raised Italian Roman Catholic who joined the UCC in 1988. Marie loves working collaboratively and enjoys finding new avenues for ministry. One of her passions in educational ministry is creating programs that excite children and youth while reminding adults that learning about God is fun. She also loves bringing people together and helping them find their common priorities and passions. Marie and her partner, Sandy Clockedile, have been friends since college. They share their sometimes chaotic home with three pets: the cats, Brownie and Key-Key; and the dog, Louie. Her hobbies include singing, ballroom dancing, hiking, knitting, and crocheting.Marie started with us in October 2007.
