Dear Marie:
I am pastor of Pilgrim UCC in Hemet, CA. My daughter, Mischa, and her partner, Leslie, live near your church. They called tonight to tell us they just got engaged. They don't plan on going to a state where they can be legally married but I will be doing a service for them sometime probably next spring, either in Arizona or in CA. They have only been together a few months. I suggested they do pre-marital counseling and it would be best if I not do it. They said not all MFTs are gay friendly. I suggested they use a UCC minister. They checked and said your church is near where they live. Leslie, by the way, has a 10-year-old son. I'm guessing it might be worth your time to do pre-marital counseling with them in the hope that they would plug into your church. Mischa grew up in West Congregational UCC in Phoenix when I was pastor there, so she has church background. She hasn't attended a church during her adult years, is 35 now. Let me know what you think and I'll pass that information on to them.
Thanks,
Gregg

I enjoy scanning your website & was looking for a bio & info on the new candidate for the new senior minsiter. Will there be one on the website?

Not sure who will look at this but in preliminary viewing I notice that several things are missing. CACC Fellowship: I will submit data regarding CACC Fellowship, it's goals, meetings etc. Will submit names of officers for the member only pages.
Also, I couldn't find anything re: Stephen Ministry. Maybe I just missed it. Have mentioned it to Vera Finney and I'm sure she'll be in touch. It's an important mission that needs to be on the site.
Good site.
