Casas Adobes Fine Arts Academy (CAFAA)
Casas Adobes Congregation Church has a long history of supporting the arts within the church and the community. Founded as an outreach program over 40 years ago, Casas Adobes Fine Arts Academy (CAFAA) consists of local musicians, artists and teachers who educate anyone and everyone who are eager to become a student of the arts.
Classes and Individual lessons are available to church and non-church members at a cost set by the instructors. For available times, please contact the church (520.297.1181) or the teachers directly. The program currently boasts four private teachers of trumpet, voice, piano, and cello as well as two visual arts classes.

hails from the Green Mountains of Vermont. Matt received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Trumpet Performance with a Conducting and Theory Concentration from the University of Arizona. Matt has a rich vocal background, performing and conducting in church choirs throughout his career and for the likes of the late Pope John Paul II. Matt is currently principal trumpet with Trio Capriccio and The Rinaldi Jazz Duo. He is also a private trumpet teacher and an adjunct professor of music at Pima Community College.

graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. She went on to audition for the vocal performance program at the University of Arizona where she was awarded a full graduate scholarship. In 2007, Allison graduated from the UA with a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. She has sung professionally with a number of opera companies including San Diego Opera, Portland Opera, Cascadia Concert Opera, Eugene Opera, and currently sings with Arizona Opera. Besides performing, Allison enjoys teaching private and group voice and piano lessons.

holds a master's degree from the University of Arizona in bassoon performance. She has served as principal bassoonist for a number of Tucson orchestras. In addition, she participates widely in small chamber ensembles, like LüftBassoons, the Crowded Quartet, Zephyrus Winds, Lend An Ear Chamber Players, and the "Garage Classical" series ChamberLab. A recording artist as well, she has performed internationally in Mexico and Japan, is an active member of the American Federation of Musicians and the International Society of Double Reeds, and teaches a growing studio of young bassoonists. began playing Horn in his school band in 1972 and has since played in orchestras, bands and chamber ensembles across the United States, Mexico, France, Scotland, England, Germany and Brazil. He joined the Tucson Symphony in 1985 as Third Horn. He went on to become Principal Horn with the Omaha Symphony, Omaha, NE, and then Principal Horn with the legendary Allentown Band in Allentown, PA., before returning to Tucson in 2004. Greg has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, The University of South Dakota, and The University of Arizona. He was a featured soloist at the 49th International Horn Symposium (2017), and remains busy with Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra, Lincoln, NE, and as soloist, clinician, and on-call Hornist in Southern Arizona.
